LiveForecast - Supported Date And Location Formats

LiveForecast allows multiple options for the weather location and date. By default, these options are set to "Opener's Location" and "Opener's Date."

Note:
For the most accurate weather forecast, we recommend you give at least 2 references for the city. You need to include only the city name if it's a large city and there's no ambiguity about which city it is. For example take major cities like Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, etc. If a city is a common name that might appear in multiple states or countries and no region/country is given as reference, Liveclicker will serve the forecast for the city with the highest population.

You can also pass geographical coordinates and zip codes (For locations in the US, UK, Brazil, and Belgium only) to identify the destination city or location of your LiveForecast. These must be entered with no space in between and separated by a comma.

If you are using a custom field to feed in the location/date, below is the list of accepted data formats for LiveForecasts:

Accepted location formats

  • city[,region][,country]
  • [longitude],[latitude]
  • zip code
  • Airport code

Airport codes are acceptable formats for the destination city field. Liveclicker will only recognize a valid 3 letter airport code like the following: LAX . When an airport code is received in this field, Liveclicker will present the Airport Name and Code in the LiveForecast with the weather for that airport:
